Amir Hekmati Sentenced to Death by Iranian Courts

Amir Hekmati, anAmerican-Muslim accused of being a spy, has been sentenced to death by Iranian courts.  Amir, who is an American born with paretnes who migrated to the United States from Iran, had gone to visit his grandmother in Iran, when he was arrested and accused of being a spy for the US.  Amir Hekmati’s family explains that Amir had for a period worked as translator for the Marines.

Amir Hekmati was born in Arizona and grew up in Michigan.  His parents currently reside in Flint, Michigan, where his father is a professor at the local community college.

Praying for Amir and the Hekmati family.  May Allah have mercy on them and give them the strength to get throught this difficult time.  May Allah protect them from any harm, and may this harsh time come to an end very soon!
